The Rules:

• Please only post 1 picture.
• Please include only a short description of your ride, and your plans for it.
• Please only submit a picture of your own car.
• If your a previous COTM winner, please have consideration for others and do not enter again for at least 3 months.
• No Cheating. (no joining with more than one name, no having people join to vote, ect) Cheaters will be banned.
• Have FUN! Be experimental. Show us somthing new! Find interesting places to take pics of your ride.

I think if anything, the Featured Ride should turn into a voting system as well.
Have:
Photo of the month AND
Car of the month.

Car of the month, can recognize the persons achievements and overall quality of their car. The winner can do a small write up on their goals/achievements etc
Photo of the month, can be this, submitting a photo that can be used at the end of the year calendar.

Just my 0.2c, i've always seen this thread from a photography aspect.

This doesn't sound too bad. There are members on here with fantastic cars on here
Who don't have the resources to preform a large photo shoot for their car.
But the thing is, what happens when we start to add high quality photo's in that contest. What to stop that contest
From becoming what this one has

People need to take the extra effort. These images are vying for the Official Calendar. Take the car out to a field or an empty lot and take a picture of it. (not to point fingers) Not next to a camper or a minivan.

The cars themselves are GREAT but unfortunately, this is generally a photo contest.

And little things like (not to point fingers again) doors being open, ruin the picture. Things like that can be avoided.

Thats one thing I dont really get, it is a photo contest and not really about the car, atleast thats the way everyone votes. I dont even know why people bother to post mods, because all that goes in the other thread is name/pic. Thats why i barely post anything for my mods.

I stopped posting mods after the first contest because I realized I could have a stock car, take crazy photos of it and still win
