Does any one know if the 6 speed transmission from a 7th gen GT will fit the 6th gen GT?

what do you guys think could be done to strengthen the c52 tranny? i'm planing on rebuilding it, and tuboing the 7a. so is there anything other than a standard rebuild that i should do or get for it, other than a LSD and performance clutch?
