Hi everyone,
when I am in neutral and revving, I hear a rattle from the passenger side axle. I raised the car and put pressure against the axle and that stopped the rattle. I started looking to see what's missing and i think something is not right with the mounting of the bracket. ![]() ![]() Thanks everyone This post has been edited by JasonX: Feb 24, 2012 - 9:51 PM -------------------- ![]() |

well the bearing could be going back in it or the wheel bearing is going bad. could be many different things.

I don't think wheel bearing could rattle when revving at stand still, right? Must be something with the axle since if I put pressure against it, the rattle stops. The axle was replaced recently and it's still making the sound. It was probably a refurbished axle, so I guess it just could be a bad one. The axle is solid closer to the transmission and it's not so solid after the bearing, closer to the wheel. I'm not a mechanic by any means, so I'm just making stuff up, lol. It would be a good feeling if I got it right for a change, hahaha.
