hey guys been a while since i have been here but plan on getting my celi going again soon after being parked since summer 05.

okay well I am now running a gt2252 turbo,295cc injectors, aeromotive 1:1 fpr, with a walbro 255 intank and all -6an lines.

I have both a SAFC-II and an emanage ultimate with map sensor(3bar).

So will this map sensor function as my map sensor for the vehicle?

if not is there a cheaper alternative to the 3sgte 2bar that is either hard to find used or pricey new?

And lastly something I had contemplated before
- could I use a GM 2bar map sensor off of a typhoon(new about $60)?
it is the required 2bar and is a 3-wire 5v system?
could i get a used GM harness and plug it into the toyota harness':
brown:ECU negative
yellow:ECU +5v
lt.green/red: ref signal

ok think i just need to get the vacuum lines, MAP sensor, and my ignition sparking again it should be running again, and i just bought a 94 carolla with 7afe for parts that had thrown the timing belt so i should have oe backup parts, also have a wide selection of GM parts on hand as well, but one step at a time right?

so what do you guys think?

sorry, don't think I was clear, I have SAFC-II and a e-manage ultimate - but they are not both installed in car.

I know emanage is better overall- but for the small setup I have would the SAFC-II be enough, I know thought there were quite a few people on here running close to my setup on here with just the SAFC-but with the 2 bar.

So, if I HAVE TO buy 3s map sensor and will run with safc, I would prefer that. Then just use E-manage on another higher hp project that i am still gathering parts for.

But if I can run E-manage and use get away with either the GM map or the greddy one I would rather do that since I have all these parts to my advantage and will not need to shell out for the new MAP

i do believe you will need the 2bar map for the stock ecu either way.
you can get em used on mr2oc for 50-75$ usually.
