Does any one know if the 6 speed transmission from a 7th gen GT will fit the 6th gen GT?

To match my shift knob!? Heh... I personally wouldn't see the need to, and don't really want to unless I had an engine to boot (ie: 20v 4AGE blacktop/silvertop) but that's me.
