well im in the process of putting on my turbo. right now everything is stock. like the fuel pump which will be changed later on when the turbo is actullay on. ok so heress the deal. i put in the new 315cc injectos light green tops or whatever the same ohm independency. and i regapped my plugs to .030 all trac spec. the car wont run for more than like 1 secound lol. whats the problem? every thing is stock except the injectors and gap setting. help.

This will have absolutely NO effect on how the car idles. The stock map sensor will work just like a 2bar map sensor at idle. When you're boosting you'll either need a 2bar map, or check valves on the stock one, but this doesn't matter at idle. Also, the engine will never 'recognize' the injectors, neither will the ECU. It will always assume you have the factory injectors, thats just how it is programmed. That is why you have the SAFC to fine tune the fuel curve and to compensate for different injectors. |
