Hi guys, just recently did the headgasket on my mates 5th gen with a 3sge, ran fine, idling a little low but is running good until yesterday while driving the battery light comes on along with what im guessing is the overheating light looks like:
sss =[]= The 's'es are supposed to be squiggly lines. No engine codes, serpentine belt isnt broken, as far as i can see all the pulleys are turning... Any ideas?? Also the light that looks like the car with lights on is on. |

thats the catalytic converter temp sensor.
if it comes on when you first start the car, it could be a faulty sensor. But if the warning light comes on when driving the cat could be blocked. heres a pic I found on google. bonus its even a celica. ![]() * the oil light should be oil pressure, not oil level. -------------------- |
