 5speed to 6speed, is it possible |

Does any one know if the 6 speed transmission from a 7th gen GT will fit the 6th gen GT?

I'm interested in dyno-tuning the car as well. I want to do it after I get either an S-AFC2 or an E-Manage, and then have a good shop do it for me. Also, was that Ken with the maroon(I think) MR2 than got 120 horsepower out of his twenty-valve? And about the ignitor, I found one from a 4Runner that's going to work for me. It's sitting on my desk now, and tomorrow I'll drop it off at my mechanic's shop. And Ray, I know I'm probably wrong on this, but with the six speed from the AE111, it seems like gears would be shorter, which would be nicer and provide quicker acceleration for a small engine that doesn't provide much torque or power until the RPMs are up high.  That said, I wouldn't spend the money or time to convert from my AE101 C52 to the six speed AE111 tranny. Also, those trannies are so hard to get a hold of, especially in the US.
