I have seen the previous thread discussing this, but my case is a little different. I am going to be running 0 guauge from the hood to the trunk of my car. I am also going to make my own battery box, but what wires am I connecting exactly? I bought a battery harness and the battery wires were cut off. I know there is a black and white cable that connects to the main fuse in my fuse box so I am assuming one of them as well as one wire to the starter? What about the alternator wire? Does the alternator wire connect to the batter, the starter or the main use block?
Harness is from a 97 celica st and the other electrical system should be from a 94 celica st |

Where the positive battery terminal used to be, splice your 0 gauge in there. Leave the alt/starter wires where they are. Run only the 0 gauge back to the trunk, then ground in the trunk as well. You'll want to add a new ground from the trans to the chassis. It sounds more complicated than it really is
