I wanted to buy a TRD Short throw shifter. Cant seem to find anywhere. Had one on my old celica but sold that one. Is there a nice alternative that you guyz recommend? Links would help Thanks

I have no problems with my 7th gen shifter. It's fairly smooth, short, and notchy. Personally, I like to take the entire assembly out before dismantling it because I don't like the close quarters of the car. And contrary to popular belief, you don't need to remove the entire center console shroud to remove the shift assembly. You just need to move the shift cables out of the way and find the so called "sweet spot" that'll let the assembly slide out nice and easy - no damage done to the shroud.
