Does anyone know if a Infinity Basslink subwoofer would fit underneath the seats of a Celica. I plan on, hopefully, purchasing a Celica sometime in the near future and currently am laying out the plans for the audio system. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated!

If you were to mount your subwoofer in your seat, it would heavily limit sound quality and SPL. Your "box" will simply be made of cloth and filler, and if the Basslinks aren't infinite baffle type subs (IB subs are kinda sucky anyways), you'll find linear distortions in the way your sub plays, mainly due to you sitting in the seat and the oddities of the space, which could force the speaker to play oddly. Also, if you're looking to put subs in the hatch cover (not sure what that is, i don't have a hatch), you would probably need to reinforce the structure and build a box underneat it. It would also be a good idea to place the woofers near the back of your hatch. If this makes sense, I'm not as dumb as I think I am. -------------------- ![]() |
