 Stupid Amp question, how many channels/how much wattage |

I just picked up two 10" alpine type-r's and I'm looking around at different amps. What kind of wattage is necessary to power them both? Should I get an amp to power each sub? I realize this is a foolish question, but car audio has never really been my thing. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm with you. In addition, it's more installation than power my friend. Design a good box and you won't need big silly amps, which means less money spent. --------------------  |
