Double like... I super dig this. How was it made? Is it dense wood or does it feel light? This post has been edited by HectortheRican: Mar 29, 2012 - 12:54 PM -------------------- taking too long to mod since '09

Double like... I super dig this. How was it made? Is it dense wood or does it feel light? Well I made it from a wooden ball from arts and crafts store. Then I just used some fine grit sandpaper made it smooth then stained it. After that I just drilled out a bigger hole in the ball, that was a bit smaller than the shifters diameter and screw it on. Forgot where the locking screw was from, but its similar to ones that come with other ball knobs to lock them in. As for weight it's light, but the feel is just right for my short shifter. This was the last knob I changed since I did this since I liked the look of it so much, and I have been using it for over two years now. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_S...u=SPM5671140203 < I used something similar to this from Joanne fabrics. Why I did this is due to me being bored shopping with my girlfriend, saw the knob and it kind of just seemed like a good idea. p.s. at the moment I'm still working on a bootless cover. Similar how some cars just have a cutout plate that shows the shifting path. I'll postt updates when ever I'm not studying.
