I have a 91 mr2 turbo. how much boost can the stock motor hold, how much boost can the stock ecu control? What are the week points on this motor? what should i a dress? Any help would be grate. Thanks

did you try asking this question on an MR2 forum?
there are not many 2nd gen 3S-GTE swaps. most of them are 3rd gen 3S-GTEs. when i had a 91 MR2 Turbo, i pushed about 18psi on an AEM EMS, thats about all the CT26 is good for. after that its just pushing hot air. the stock ECU hits boost cut around 12psi i think. you need a VPC to get around that -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
