What are these 2 hoses and what are they supposed to connect to? IIRC my mechanic plugged them to bring my idle back to normal, but now its idling at 1600 rpm.

What are these 2 hoses and what are they supposed to connect to? IIRC my mechanic plugged them to bring my idle back to normal, but now its idling at 1600 rpm. ![]() I could be wrong but they look like the hoses to the idle up control valves. One is on the power steering rack to raise the rpms when you turn the steering wheel and the other is on the passenger side of the intake to raise the rpms when the AC is on. If he plugged them on one end then this means that where ever he unplugged them from is now open. It would take at least 4 plugs for two hoses |
