Next year I'll be getting married and been looking into where to go on the honeymoon, as I am a big fan of the US I couldnt think of anywhere I would rather go. My initial thoughts were to go to Disney World its fun and easy, but then I thought its the UK summer holiday time for the schools so it will be busy and very expensive (UK travel agents triple the price of holidays during school holidays).
Does anyone have any other suggestions on where to go, both in the US and Canada. I used to live in LA so I would like to try somewhere different. I dont really have any criteria for what I want, dosnt have to be a park, could be anything Any help would be great Thanks -------------------- |

It depends on what you are interested in I supposed, there are plenty of wonderful places to see in this country. I'm partial to New England since that is where I grew up. New York City is amazing, but again I prefer the feel of Boston. Washington D.C. is fun for the monuments. If you want to travel further in than the East Coast, the Grand Canyon is an amazing sight, but other than that its quiet in that area. Hawaii is exotic and beautiful (I'd check out Oahu), while Alaska is majestic, rugid and amazing (I highly recommend Seward). If you've been to northern Europe then I imagine Alaska is similar. The Pacific Northwest is nice, North Cali, San Fran, Seattle, etc. They all offer great things.
For Canada, I've only been to Montreal and Victoria. Niagra Falls is cool. I really liked Victoria, very clean and close to both Victoria, and Seattle. Its dependent on if you want beaches, mountains, history, cities, etc.. This post has been edited by jcbass7: Apr 21, 2012 - 10:20 AM |
