Hello folks,
I'm out on the lookout to buy a straight 6gen Toyota Celica, 96+ would be nice, but 94 is okay as well. GT/liftback trim in manual transmission only. Expanding this search onto this forum because I'm not getting many results on autotrader and craigslist. Oregon and Washington only please. Sorry to hear that. ST isn't that bad. Only real advantage to the GT is disc brakes on the rear, but can add those to a ST with a little work. I don't feel the extra 20-30 hp depending on year justifies the drop from 28-29/34-35 to 22/28-29(original EPA ratings). The GT also weighs almost 200 pounds more(ST versus GT liftbacks anyway). I have a ST and am very pleased with it. Just something you might want to consider.
