 ECU blown twice now |

I replaced my ecu a while back. It failed for what appeared to be no reason. The new one has failed me as well. It was a rainy day, car was jerking a little, all of a sudden the car lost all power and wouldn't even try to start again. Any idea what could cause this to happen twice? I know the car hates low octane fuel, I have to run 89-93 in it. It also seems to run worse when the temperature varies a lot. One more thing, I didn't think it had an alarm but after it died I hit the button to lock the doors and it started beeping... ? Pllllleeeaaseee help me I love my car and want it fixed.

If you have spark and fuel, it should run. Did you test the pump itself by putting power directly to it or we're you getting fuel out of the cylinders when you tried to to turn it over and check for spark? Could very well be a dying fuel pump relay or COR, if it wasn't changed out with the ECU. Have you tried giving the fuel pump direct power then turning it over? This would bypass the relays and force the pump to work regardless.
