My neighbor has an 88 st he changed motors in from a usdm to a jdm 3sfe the throttle bodys are totally different so he may have more issues than just this.
His tps has no cover and all the contacts are bent all to hell and I tried to explain to him, uh dude thats not going to work like that. I was wondering what years interchange so I can try and find him one. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

efi relay ?
grounds ? injectors rely on good grounds for proper operation, make sure he has solid ground on the EFI wiring side of the harness. swap injectors witth the previous engine ? is a long shot, but with a swapped engine there is always a chance for defective parts due to the engine sitting for a period of time. -------------------- ![]() |
