Next year I'll be getting married and been looking into where to go on the honeymoon, as I am a big fan of the US I couldnt think of anywhere I would rather go. My initial thoughts were to go to Disney World its fun and easy, but then I thought its the UK summer holiday time for the schools so it will be busy and very expensive (UK travel agents triple the price of holidays during school holidays).
Does anyone have any other suggestions on where to go, both in the US and Canada. I used to live in LA so I would like to try somewhere different. I dont really have any criteria for what I want, dosnt have to be a park, could be anything Any help would be great Thanks -------------------- |

leaving from Calgary, Alberta towards Banff ![]() ![]() Banff, Alberta- looking down on it from Sulphur mountain ![]() Lake Louise, Alberta ![]() Kelowna, BC(where the Ogopogo Run takes place that KAOS was talking about.) ![]() Vernon, BC ![]() Somewhere between Kamloops and Lillooet BC ![]() Somewhere between Lilooet and Pemberton BC ![]() Whistler, BC - Whistler Village (depending on when you go, you can go skiing, zip-lining, mountainbiking, and hiking all in the same day..lol) ![]() Rest stop off the side of the highway on the Sea to Sky highway - Between Whistler and Vancouver ![]() Cedar Cathedral - Vancouver Island ![]() River off the side of the road between Port Alberni and Pacific Rim National Park - Vancouver Island ![]() Tofino BC (my fav place I have been anywhere so far) ![]() Hotspring Island - about 30 min off the coast of Tofino (you can catch boats out there, nice long walk along this pathway and leads you into a natural sulphur hotspring.. ![]() ^thats me...note..don't wear jeans, its a bit of a hike and its pretty humid along the path. Long Beach BC (just south of Tofino) ![]() The west coast of Canada is just amazing. Doing the drive that I did, you go through everything from of badlands out in Alberta, mountains, warm Valleys (Okanagan Valley), desert (out near Kamloops), to mountains again, to Coastal temperate rainforests. It is absolutely breath taking and has soo much to offer. |
