OK, so my parents are junking our old subaru outback and it has heated seats in it. I already took out the heating elements and the plugs and wires. How could I wire these seats in into my car, and I want to modify the plastic where the cigarette lighter is so that instead of the empty hole next to it, I have the 2 switches for each seat. So my question is where should I draw power from and what would be the easiest wiring?

I put aftermarket heated seats in my car. I took power from the thick gauge wire going into the ignition, not the constant 12 volts, but the on that puts out power when the key is in. then you just need to wire it all up from switches to the seats. Batman722 has them wired in the cig lighter spot like you are talking about, my switches are on the doors, next to the power lock button.
