ticking noise coming from under the valve cover when give it gas it will tick faster. any suggestion? valve clearance maybe?

This is allll good stuff and right. I had a valve adjustment done two years ago (before that, the ticking was insane) and afterwards, I could still hear a light ticking. It's just the injectors.

Ticking can be annoying, but it isnt bad coming out of the cylinder head. Its knocking that you need to worry about if you hear it. Make sure there isnt an exhaust leak and check your valve clearances. Move your hand around close to the exhaust manifold where it bolts to the head. You will feel hot puffs of air if there is an exhaust leak.
