I'll second that... The A series is a great seires, IMO, much more fun than the S seires. The 4AG heads are built to rev far beyond the stock specs, probably good for 9000 rpms or so, or until you start gettin valve float. The GZE blocks are very tough also, and they respond very well to boost. They can make as much power as a 7AFTE @ 12 psi which is around 190-200whp and can probably do it more reliably... but the do make a bit less torque. Power-wise, I'd take a 4AGZE over a 7AFTE basically because you're looking at essentially the same power (depending on which 4AGZE you get). The 4AGZE will be more difficult, but price-wise, they should each break even with the other. An OD pulley on the MAP 4AGZEs have shown around 190-200 to the wheels around 10-12 psi... so they can take it reliably. A turbo 4AG built off of the GZE block will be even better than a 7AFTE... but it's your call. Honestly speaking, if you're still in school and money is an issue... you should worry about school and making more money before you worry about going fast. School will help you make money, which will eventually help you reach your power goals, which will drain your money, which will........ on and on... ;] -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
