 jack stands points |

for some reason im always confused about where to place the jack stands i just wanna be safe and i dont wanna cause any damage to the car, so i need to know where is the safest and the best spot to place the jack stands(front end)?

Lol actually my first post with your post as a quote was an accident. I hit reply next to your post because it was the last one. So I wasnt even talking to you I was talking to the OP. Totally valid point though not to jack directly under the door because you will bend the door jamb if you jack under the threshold plates.
Just like you I will shove my wheel/tire under the door as extra insurance, though 95% of the time Im at my house and use a cinderblock instead. Better to **** up my wheel or car than my face. This post has been edited by Special_Edy: May 8, 2012 - 12:01 PM |
