Hey,

So I'm looking for wheel adapters to fit a set of BBS RX 16x7 +42 wheels that are 5x114.3.

Will a set of 25mm adapters fit fine in the car with no modifications needed, even lowered?

Also, do I really need the adapters to be centric to the wheel hub? Aren't acorn nuts supposed to center the wheel when tightened in a cross pattern?

ok simple.

since both rims are 7 yours and OEM

our cars come with a 38 offset rims..

you are using 42 offset, which means they will be sucked in.

for them to be at oem, you will need at least a 5mm spacer.

now your rims are 5 x 114.3

you have to have adapters to convert 5x100 to 5 x 114.3

the minimum for this is at least 20 mm.

regarding safety for a daily driver, i opted not to use these adapters, they need to be checked periodically for tightness, as if the adapter fails, you know what happens.

at 25 mm, you will probably require to roll the fenders.

i just found the perfect 35 offset rim, and no adapters, thats just me.

if you still want spacers, adapters, make sure they are hubcentric.
