I say pick it up, on a few certain conditions. Make very sure that you have sourced an engine to swap in before you buy the car, so you don't end up with a car that doesn't run and no way to fix it. Make sure you have the capability of replacing the engine yourself, or have the cash to pay a mechanic to do it in the event that you wind up lost with no way to fix it. If you've got that covered, there's no reason in the world why you shouldn't go home with it
