My gas tank has a hole in it and i don't have a lot of mechanical know-how to take it out and fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Do you need to remove the exhaust to drop the tank? because I'm going to need to do this very soon as well since my lines are starting to rust out.

Well, since the bolts on my exhaust were rusted and sealed up real good, i had to cut my exhaust. Since the exhaust crosses the fuel tank, it is necessary to remove it to lower the tank. -------------------- 1980 mitsubishi champ- stolen
