Hi Bros,

I'm from HK, I'got a problem with my Celica 3SGE engine, it cannot reach the max rpm when running at any gear, and even just stay. The rpm grows without any drops or lacking power till 6000 rpm. It stops there, just like reaching the max rpm limit. I renew the old sparks plugs with Denso 16, and and ignition chord with TRD.

Some car repair service suggest to check the distributor, but some claim that's the problem of rpm limiter/ O2 sensor...

So do u know which part I can check and follow?

Thanks!

its normal to take a while to get to normal operating temperature.

Does seem odd, when did it start happening? Did it do it before the sparkplugs and leads were swapped over?
Any chance of a video to see whats happening? neutral rev and driving.
