hello.
Sadly i dont own a celica, but im currently looking for a 98-99 in good shape. I drive a 2000 eclipse gt .I hope to find a celica soon because it is my all time favorite car, like 10 years ago my brother used to have a white 94 celica gt(back then i was only 13 years old). And i loved that car,it was very comfortable and that dashboard was awesome,my favorite part of the car was the dashboard lol. The problem is that i cant find a celica in good shape, most of the 6th gen around here are completly beaten up,im looking for a complete stock one, even with the oem wheels because i want to keep that car my entire life and i want it clean. and it MUST be a GT and manual hehehe. i just want to ask some questions: how expensive is the manteinance on a gt?...how reliable is this car for being 13+ years old? I'm asking this because, the manteinance on my eclipse is very expensive,to change the spark plugs is a pain in the ass because the intake plenum must be removed in order to get the damn rear plugs... $250 in labor, and timing belt job is about $600. Thanks. |

Welcome and good luck on your search! Eclipses are nice cars but the body seems a bit pudgy, unlike the sleek lines of a 6gc. And of course the dashboard looks gooood!
