the car started making aclicking sound when i started it so i immediatly thought the starter was going bad. I checked the plugs and wires as well...both good. i pulled the starter and had it checked voltage is good, but the teeth on the gear is a little worn. the flywheel is worn a bit too. I dont know if i need to change both the starter and flywheel...or if anyone has any suggestions that would be great.
ps this is what the computer at advance said...1 flywheel tooth damage or wear. 2 tooth engagement depth/shimming.

^Agreed. The most of it is probably your starter. It sounds like the actuator is bad on it and has been going, most likely why teeth are bad. If you don't replace your flywheel now, you will regret it down the road. May be a month, may be a year. I wouldn't go too much lighter on the flywheel unless you plan on turboing it. The lighter the flywheel, the faster you'll rev, but the more mid and top end you lose. I had an 11lbs I think on my last Integra and I had a good loss in power past 100 mph, and a big loss past 130mph ... I couldn't get it past 145mph ... not that you need to go that fast, but this was also a built engine, you'll notice it well before 100 mph.
