hey guys, i need to replace an axle, and was wondering if there was a seal on the cv joint where it meets the transmission. i dont have photo to use but right where the passenger side axle goes into the tranny, the back of the cv joint, is there a seal or something i should replace when i replace the axle/cv joint? or is there no seal or anything at all?

so the side that goes into the trans, after the cv joint there is a seal that comes out and could be replaced? like the section that itself goes into the tranny and the cv boot, theres a seal that goes behind the boot that meets the tranny? |
