Every now and than, (alot more frequent lately), whenever i lock my car, the alarm will go off.
It doesn't happen every time, and i don't notice myself doing anything different in the times that it does. Its the standard alarm, with the factory key-fob. Any ideas on what the problem is, how i can fix it, or stop it? It gets a little embarassing with it going off all the time in shopping centers. -------------------- |

Cheers man. With the black switch, is it a unplug, wait and reply it back in? Or leave it unplugged. Whats this doing?
It only happened every now and then, and I'm sure all The lights go off. I'm thinking the key fob could be spazzing out. I've been real careful when pressing it lately, and waiting a good 10 seconds before I do lock it and no problems. But I still think it will every time. It's not the beeping like the bonnet/door isn't closed. I lock the car (it does lock) I see my alarm led come on than within that second te alarm goes off. I than have to lock it again to stop it, than lock again to enable the alarm. -------------------- |

(so if the bonnet is openned whilst the alarm is active the alarm wont trigger, But in saying that, ive never heard of anyone being able to do this without setting off the vibration sensor first!!) And yes after reading your last little bit; it most likly sounds like it is your bonnet trigger playingup. Let us know how you go mate.... |
