I got a 97 celica gt that has a minor oil leak and I decided to give it a cleaning. So I can spot the oil leak much easier. But anyways. Off the maintenance topic. I need help on how to PROPERLY clean our engine bays. If you're wandering I have any modifications? I only have the injen short ram. So what products should I use to clean it and what should I cover up with plastic to prevent getting wet. What area to not get water contact. Is there a certain direction I should spray in? Should I use power wash, jet blast nozzle(from gardening hose thingy majigger), or just use a straight out water hose to clean it? Thanks!

make sure to cover the intake, distributor, alternator, electric components just to be safe. but
I usually just spray it down with my pressure washer and then spray armor all on everything while it's wet and then let it dry. makes everything nice n clean. -------------------- ![]() *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |
