I have an RSX and am looking at my AWD options. But I will say, for FWD sport compacts, these little cars are great.
-Much like the Celica, interior is still one of the nicest (even for a 10 year old car) -You have the very popular K20 that all the Civic kids are swapping into their car -Aftermarket and OEM replacement parts are pretty easy to find -I am a believer in hatchbacks after owning this car lol (so much cargo room for a 2 door) -Gas mileage is around 22-24 city (very little lead foot) -I've driven in the snow and these cars handle their own pretty well. The only thing I would be cautious of is a lot of times these cars are previously owned by kids that beat the crap out of them, so you need to look into the history (carfax, ect..). They are very reliable, but I have heard a few stories of people having quite a few problems people didn't find out about until after purchasing the car.(thats why I bout my car completely stock) Depending on the Civic Si you are looking at, the Ep3 is very comparable to the RSX. But the FA5 (06-10) have drive-by-wire and a few other options that make them a little more of a joy for car enthusiasts. -------------------- |
