Well yesterday i felt like replacing the speakers in the car since they were all stock and blown. The only ones i need to replace now are the tweeter's and my subwoofers and amp!,, I couldnt find any 8" speakers for the doors and i did not want to put a sub in the door, so i made some 6x9's fit, They don't rattle at all and they are in the original speaker bracket. I had to cut the plastic a bit to make them fit then used screws to hold it in place. I am very surprised with how it sounds now. I thought i was going to have to make a custom bracket due to rattling and fit, but it wasn't the case at all and it didn't take long to do either. I also replaced the deck, I love the colour changing it can do its pretty neat!

EDIT: I have the 6 speaker system btw

not a sub, but a midrange speaker. needs some convincing to go in there...

Nice! How does it sound? And lastly, where did you get them?

i like how u go through 3 different brands of speakers....and on top of that a different brand deck too. biggrin.gif. just giving you a hard time. hows the fitment of the 6X9 after the panels back on? and njccmd im jealous. i want some rockfords

Hahaha, i was waiting for somebody to notice rolleyes.gif ,I just really needed to pick up new speakers, still sounds surprisingly good too but they were real cheap. And to answer your question there was no fitment issues at all, on the passenger side door where the power window switches are you just have to make sure the wires from those don't get in the way.
