 Transmission swap 1.8 to 2.2, Is it possible? |

Hi, i have two Toyota celica's 6th gen sitting with me. Both are 1994. one is the ST with 1.8 motor and other is the GT-S with 2.2.
The problem is that the transmission on 2.2 is bad. So, my question is that can i put in the transmission of my 1.8 into 2.2? |

Thank you all for your replies. but can i just swap the 1.8ST engine and tranny within 2.2 GT-s body?
