hey guys im going to build a 7afte engine i have all my under the hood mapping and how im going to go about this as far as custom building the engine and have a question? i need to know what you guys think about the fuel side of the build? the info for the engine is i will be using a hybrid turbo (internal waste gate) with a 1.6L turbo manifold, mazda millinia intercooler (top mount) over the intake manifold, turbo smart BOV, manual boost controller, 2bar map sensor from a mr2, and plan on running 8-10 psi.
what im asking is what is the best size toyota injectors and fuel pump, is there and good OEM set up to go with or do i need to look to aftermarket parts, my thoughts are i want to go with a OEM set up with miss match parts from other toyota cars on kind off the simple project and low boost ,trying to do this cheap as possible for use blue collar guys who just want a little more kick out of our 7-afe's and dont want to do a full swap. oh and i have a old black celica to do this project on so i can still drive my new red 25th ![]() also will do a tread on the full build when i begin thanks for your opion |

read more, with the MR2 MAP sensor you can use Supra 7M-GE injectors and that should be enough. search for my thread about boosting the 7A. Erynn might also sell the kit i put on her car.

If you wanna go the extra mile, id do some work to the head. if you read nik's thread, he did a 7agte setup and pushed well over 300 to the wheels. why? not only did he build the bottom end(more for reliability), but the 4a head yeilds better flow. port the head and run bigger valves, cams with higher lift and duration. it will cost you maybe an extra grand, but im sure youd be seeing close to 250 and up. keep updating and good luck |
