Every now and than, (alot more frequent lately), whenever i lock my car, the alarm will go off.
It doesn't happen every time, and i don't notice myself doing anything different in the times that it does. Its the standard alarm, with the factory key-fob. Any ideas on what the problem is, how i can fix it, or stop it? It gets a little embarassing with it going off all the time in shopping centers. -------------------- |

I replaced the battery a while ago, and that's worked since than. But another problem, which could be a progression of this.
I have gotten out of the car, and went to lock it, it doesn't beep, than I lost all power. Today I came to the car when it was locked, my alarm light was flashing, when I hit unlock, I lost power. A small fix was to wiggle the wires to the battery, but in there looks all okay, don't know what else. When I got in the car after using the key to get in, I had full power :s I recently added another amp to my car, but I don't think that's the problem. Time for aftermarket? Or since the arming/disarming to shorting out power, it's something else? -------------------- |
