I know this isn't the best rebuild kit for the 7A out there, but where could I find something similar in better quality?

Just to be certain, if I get 0.04" oversized pistons, that's diameter, right? If so, what size bearings should I buy to go with them?

If you don't need oversized pistons (in the case of the cylinder walls being good to go with a hone) I recommend you don't get them. Later on something might happen and you have already used all the wall meat you could safely use. If you also plan on going some kind of forced induction later on perhaps, having stock bore is best.

But yes, .040" means 1mm larger in diameter, so you would be I believe 82mm instead of 81mm stock. That kit also lets you choose piston static compression. So you could go 9.0:1 for a decent FI build, or 9.5:1 for a stock rebuild, or maybe 10.0:1 for a little more compression for an mild N/A build.

Mind you, that kit does not include a water or oil pump I believe. You should contact them with the part # of the kit and ask what exactly the kit will bring. Granted you'll get good quality parts that meet or exceed OEM specs for a decent price.
