 camry auto interchangeable?, 94 celica auto trans |

I bought a 94 celica the other day. someone replaced the axles, and not too long after it quit moving. it grinds and pops when you put it in gear, so I figure the diff is toasted now.
anyhow, I am wondering if the trans is the same as the camry's? seems like it would be except for the gear ratio maybe. anyone know for sure? thanks. |

im going to guess 62% chance they are the same
