Hello guys I just waxed my 94 celica hatch back and I got some wax on the rubber seal that goes around the hatch window. Now it doesn't quite feel like rubber it almost feels like a mix of felt and rubber and seems to be very porous. I have tried all kinds of rubber conditioners to bring the stain from the wax out but nothing works. It looks like a grey stain were the wax touched the seal in many places. I also tried WD40 which made it darker for a little while then it faded back to grey. Any ideas how to fix this? I am not sure what type of material the seal is made of, it does not seem to be rubber as I can clean the other window seals off???? Thanks,
brandon

I had good results with Mothers Back to Black and some elbow grease. The stains have yet to return.

Was thinking about getting some of that, I had just figured it was more or less like tire shine though.
