Did an engine swap. Engine runs great, but trans wont go in gear. Yes, i double checked my linkage, its fine, moving as it should. Now what, ...troubleshooting ideas, please. Thanks, the ragin cajun. p.s. Its an auto trans.

a quick and easy way to see if its getting fuel is to take some carb cleaner and spray some past the throttle body, turn it over. If it runs you have a fuel problem, if it doesnt it has an ignition problem.

Its getting fuel. I know this because, after I turn it over and stop, fuel comes back out of the throttle body(I've got the air intake off of it). Its just weird that this happened right after i put trans fluid in. I know it shouldn't have anything to do with it, and yet...
