okay so normaly i do not ask really anything on here unless i have done my research because more then likely you can 90% of the time find what your looking for if you just search other peoples topics. now i am kinda stuck so i need some of you swaped 3s guys input on a few things.
first off my car is a 95 gt i have front clip, motor is out parts being orderd and saved for me to have every thing ready for swap. its a 3rd gen 3s with only 23,000 miles on it. Im getting six puck clutch from act (yes im using 5sfe tranny), aem a/f, blitz boost controller, new struts with tein coils, new motor mounts, oem new belts spark plugs ect, down pipe not sure what too get yet (aussie,or ko racing down pipe) im not too sure. i have heard alot of bad things about berk down pipes welds very bad and low grade 400 series stainless steel that is "polished" with a clear coat to keep moisture out so i know that one is out of the ?!. (yes i know about having brace for down pipe or it will crack ko has bracket with theres) and aussie only comes in 3in so i dont want any suffer from boost creap because im going with a full 3in exhuast. so ill most likely go with the ko (what do you guys think does anyone have one?) one more thing im going with fmic because im not doing my gt4 front end conversion any time soon so i will not be able to keep w/a tmic cooled enough with stock hood and i dont want any heat soke going on and i plan on getting to at least 300hp so fmic seems like it is best for me. so im not sure what i should get if i should custom make one or buy one (i just need it to hold 17psi no more for now) i have seen a few guys buy them and a few custom made im not sure what size the intercooler has to be for mine because i dont have gt4 fornt bummper im not sure if that will change anything i found this one on line http://www.ebay.com/itm/FMIC-Intercooler-K...w-/130560712600. im not sure if that intercooler will give me problems when trying to install because it is for an st205. (anyone have an idea for me?) thanks in advance Talen |

What about emspowered downpipe?
http://www.emspowered.com/storefront/index...;products_id=68 I don't know any reviews on it but it's what I'm running seems to do the job. I agree stick with the top mount not only does it work nicer it looks cleaner. When I had the front mount intercooler it was such a pain. I would be driving and the pipes would come loose and I would have to pull over wait until the car cools and redo them. Less piping less problems. Half the issue was I just bought I cheap eBay kit. I would not recommend at all. It will cost you more in the long run when you are paying to redo the kit. Oh, And I love my centerforce clutch. -------------------- |
