So, for a while my power steering pump has been chirping at me, regardless of the tension I set on the belt. I was also hearing some noises from the water pump area (the PS pump on the ST is driven off the water pump)... Today, it started knocking somewhat loudly. So, I loosened the belt all the way, so it's not engaged and it doesn't seize and strain my water pump....

Does anyone have any suggestions where to get a new/refurbed power steering pump for a decent price?

have you tried running it without the belt to see where the sound is coming from? normally a PS pump groans. and those sounds can be from a pump or bad seals leaking in air.
