 quick belt question |

Hey everyone,
I'm looking to get my hands on the pair of belts for my 3rd gen, so I'd like to know if 2nd gen belts will work on a 3rd gen. I know the power steering belt will, but I'm not sure about the AC compressor/Alternator belt. It would be so awesome if the 2nd gen belts work because then I would just be able to get them through my local toyota dealer. Input is appreciated! --------------------  |

Count the ribs then measure the length with string and look up in an online parts catalog?

I don't have the belts on hand at the moment, plus part numbers dont cross reference at my dealer unfortunately. I was hoping one of the current 3rd gen guys could chime in since I'm sure they've run into the same issue EDIT: Purchased an st185 belt and it worked just fine.
