So when I bought my celica the motor on the power antenna didn't work and they had a wire clothes hanger on something jammed into it to fix the broken mast. I decided to just relocate the antenna all together so far I have about $80 involved in this upgrade but I messed up one of the adapters so I have to buy a new one. ( disclaimer: I don't know if this will work on a car without a sun roof)

Out of curiosity, do you think a universal shark fin would fit over the original antenna location? Someone put a tacky generic on mine, can't do the S2000 mod.

It's possible but if you do I would put a rubber grommet and possibly some 3m stick to make sure it Dosen't leak because the stock hole is kind of oval shaped -------------------- 97 Celica GT liftback DD/ project

Main concern was curvature of the quarter panel. Just tired of having my flappy rubber RC car antenna. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
