Gear ratios are shorter in the manual, which is why it has lower. I think the window sticker says combined MPG is 25. Hold on let me go grab it...

Strange, everyone that has the manual and drives like a sane person has been getting equivalent to the auto's rating. I'd go manual even with the lower mpg, it's just better that way.  I do know I want one really bad, especially with some of the parts that're supposed to come out for it.
