Here are the rods from a 1MZ/3MZ, 2JZ and 2ZZ. Just for comparison, If i can come across a 5S-FE and 3S-GTE rod ill add them.

I think that the longer rod is actually more efficient than a shorter one supposing the crank throw remains constant. Maybe you could find a way to stroke one of the engines. The 2JZ rod definately looks beefier than the 1mz/3mz rod.
Suppose you were to put forged pistons and 2jz rods in a MZ engine, and have the block decked down to the right CR, youd have a perfect setup for FI.
