Hello I have a 99 celica gt with only 95k miles when I bought at up until now I had this problem getting into gear at a full stop I'd clutch in and the shifter would be difficult to put it into gear very difficult it would click twice but u wouldn't feel the trans clucking or anything and when u drive it shifts just fine now I've replaced oem clutch slave and master and new fluid in the master cylinder bleeded the system and also changed the trans fluid and im still having this issue any ideas?

have you checked all the cables and linkage? whats happening sounds more like one of those

have you checked all the cables and linkage? whats happening sounds more like one of those mind you when car is off gears go in just fine. the only thing to check is shifter cables right there is nothing else right. this is what mine looked like I then taped it with electrical tape. posted a wtb thread for this shifter cable, but no luck yet... my guess is that when the car is running this cable has a lot more tension than when the car is off??? ![]() This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: Sep 17, 2012 - 5:40 PM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts
