I was wondering what type of clutch/flywheel options everyone has on their celica and what their opinions are.
I'm in the market looking for a new clutch since mine is slipping right now and needs new replacement. I'm thinking about getting a Clutchmaster's Stage 1 with a Fidanza flywheel combo after reading some reviews but wanted to hear more feedback from the 6gc community, thanks. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you loose torque but gain HP with a lightened flywheel.
I have a Spec Stage 2 Clutch with a resurfaced Stock flywheel -------------------- ![]() 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you loose torque but gain HP with a lightened flywheel. I have a Spec Stage 2 Clutch with a resurfaced Stock flywheel neither of these is true. you gain acceleration from the loss of inertial weight. so it feels like you gain power. I highly suggest a Southbend Clutch TZ and fidanza flywheel. -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo
